Voices of Freedom Gospel Choir.

The Voices of Freedom Gospel Choir was one of several musical groups to perform at the Inauguration. Also performing were the University Wind and Jazz Ensembles, the University Pep Band, and the University Marching Band. Soloist Rachael Binaco, a fine arts student in music, performed the National Anthem.

After a rousing performance of the UConn Husky Fight Song, the University of Connecticut Marching Band headed a procession to Fairfield Way for an Inauguration Festival. The procession included a parade-balloon of Jonathan, the UConn Husky mascot.

Steel Drums

UConn's steel drummers provided the beat for the procession from the Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts to the Inauguration Festival.
